Free Reading Bingo Challenge Printable
Writing Utensillike pen or markers to cross off or color items as completed
Instructions
Print out bingo cards and pass out to participants.
Let participants complete the entire card over a predetermined duration of time (eg. a certain month, winter or summer break).
The goal would be to encourage reading every day (or nearly every day). Participants should aim to complete at least one item a day, though participants may choose to do more than one in a single day, or there may be days skipped in which case they may choose to catch up on other days.
(Optional) To keep participants motivated throughout the period, you can pass out prizes for getting a line of bingo (a row, column, or diagonal of 5 - or 4 if using the preschool/kindergarten version) instead of having to wait until they get blackout bingo.
Bring the completed card back to the school, library, or other group administrating this fun activity.
(Optional) Have participants share what books they read to complete the tasks on their card. Pass out prizes if there are any.
Notes
Family members are encouraged to get involved in the bingo challenge as well to help foster a love for reading!
